As I am not drinking the Apple cool-ade, and I have not been woo'd by the mystic nature of Androd or the Palm Pre, I am still gung-ho that my little Tilt is still the only phone for me. Atleast until the HTC Touch Pro 2 comes out. The competition all have their "app stores", for me it's always a crap shoot what app will perform best and present a clean UI for my touch screen phone. I recently found an awesome facebook app but have yet to find a comparable Twitter app to that of the iphone.

In my quest to find a solid twitter app for my TYTNII, I stumbled across Twikini, a Windows Mobile Twitter App. Trinket Software had a trial offering so I gave it a shot. Before this, I had tried ceTwit, Twobile, and a few others that were ok, but lacking in in some areas. Twikini impressed me with it's UI and integration with twitPic as well as its clean interface and quick response times. It wasn't long before my trial period ended and I was left not wanting to search for a substitute and too cheap to pay for an app. While heading back to the site to find out how much they wanted for their little app, I stumbled upon an offer to give it away for free. Fortunately for me, Trinket Software is offering the software for free just for blogging about it. So here's to getting a twitter app back on my phone.

Go here and try it out:http://www.trinketsoftware.com/Twikini

I am in day 4 of my Memorial Day weekend. It has been an exciting one. It started off on Friday with a Half Day at work, and a motorcycle ride with Austin. The last time I rode, there was still snow on the ground heading out too the coast. This ride was more of a random exploratory ride, and we hit two dead end roads, that were very enjoyable. We managed to avoid all of the Memorial weekend traffic, so I was pleased with that outcome.

Continue reading "Sad and Happy Memorial Day weekend."

Bad news first...found out this morning that the release date to the very much anticipated game, Batman Arkham Asylum, has been pushed back to the 4th quarter. If the decision was made due to faults and failures of the game and bugs that they want to fix, then more power to them. I encourage that type of delay. However, more often then not, the delay is due to wanting to save the game for the holiday sales. I think that it is absurd to think they the will generate more sales by delaying the game to a different time, with the caveat that if a game sucks, then that is the only way to go.
